Kurashiki-DEN is well suited to individuals, families, groups or is available special occasion holidays. Kurashiki-DEN consists of an old house (called Wa House) and a new house (called Yo House).
This is a Traditional Japanese style home renovated with its elegance and history of 100 years, and licensed as an inn under Japan Hotel Business Act in 2017.
There are 2 adjoining rooms upstairs and 1 room downstairs on the ground floor, from which you can see a garden which had been used as a waiting place for tea ceremony guests.
We offer rentals in Wa House, which was originally built by a local merchant in the mid-1800’s, starting at ¥40,000 per Night. Prior to opening for guests in 2017, Wa House went through a full restoration at the hands of a renowned local architect. Under his direction, Wa House maintains all of it’s traditional charm while providing the modern conveniences that you expect.
- All of WA House can be rented as a complete offering and can accommodate up to 8 guests in total.
- Adjoining Guest Rooms – situated upstairs, perfect for a family or group, space enough for 4 or 5 guests.
